Race Across the Globe 2025 marked Brentwood School's first ever mass participation fundraising event.
• Over 1,500 participants took part, including pupils, parents, staff, and Old Brentwoods.
• 13,049.3 miles were covered through swimming, cycling, running, and walking.
• £18,977 was raised in support of the Brentwood School Foundation.
The campaign united our whole community in a shared mission to raise funds for transformational bursaries, giving deserving young people opportunities that would otherwise be out of reach.
Race Across the Globe has shown how powerful collective giving and community can be. Every participant, every kilometre and every donation has contributed to helping bright students receive a first-class education.
"There are lots of things that make Brentwood such a special community. One of them is our bursary programme, which gives ambitious and talented young people access to a transformative education that simply would not be possible without financial support. The statistics are impressive - well over 100 children benefit from means-tested bursaries at Brentwood - but the real impact can be seen through the stories of our award holders, who shine brightly in our school and go on to achieve great things. Above all, however, we know they will pay back the support they received at Brentwood in all manner of ways and places. Our students learn the importance of doing good in the world, not just well in their exams, and our bursary award holders lead the way. That's the real gift of the Brentwood School Foundation.
