Josh Argent headed to the University of Bath to study Economics with a placement year, where he remains in his final stages of study after a busy and impressive two years.
"I am still at university" he explains, having completed a placement at TSB Bank followed by a summer internship at Millennium Management. He adds that securing the internship and converting it to a full-time graduate role on the analyst programme has been a major highlight - along with making it into the second XI football team at Bath.
Josh feels Brentwood set him up strongly for the transition to university life: "I feel it prepared me very well, providing me with the confidence to give anything a go, as well as the strong academics and sporting ability which has served me well so far."
His advice for today's Sixth Formers is full of enthusiasm:
"Throw yourself into everything - you don't know who you will meet and how much you will enjoy giving something a try."
