Brentwood School Foundation Ball

Having been postponed since 2020, for well documented reasons, the Foundation Ball was back for 2021 and despite the continuing challenging landscape that is Covid-19, there was plenty of support to help raise funds for the Brentwood School Foundation towards transformational bursaries.

Held, once again, at Stock Brook Country Club and with live singing entertainment provided by The Other Guys (back by popular demand) guests enjoyed a four course meal with wine before taking to the dance floor (or hiding in the bar!). An 'envelope raffle' and 'online auction' - the latter including unique opportunities of School Lunch with the Headmaster and Tea at the House of Lords with Lord Black (OB) - provided the fundraising activity, with a total of just shy of £9,300 raised, after costs, for Foundation funds; a very good result in the current climate. We are very grateful to our event sponsor AF Insurance.

Headmaster, Michael Bond, briefly addressed the guests to update them on the progress of the Foundation, it's 're-launch' post pandemic and the challenging target the Board has of providing ten Foundation funded bursary places (in addition to the 100+ already funded by the school from fee income) by 2030.

The feedback from the guets was very positive, with many out to party for the first time since lockdowns were lifted!

"Thanks again for an awesome ball… those who didn’t go have no idea what they missed!! FABULOUS"
