OB Day 2023
OB Day 2023

OB Day 2023 saw a new format being adopted. Rather than separate match teas for sports and an AGM lunch, everyone came together for a Hogroast and BBQ in front of the Pavilion. With the weather on side and a well stocked bar over 300 OBs, students and supporters joined for the day. Coupled with music from the extremely talented Murray & Luca (U6th students), there was a fantastic atmosphere. It was particularly pleasing to see a lot of non-playing supporters and families in attendance.

Some news and notices from the day:

  • Congratulations to the OB sports teams as experience won over youth across the days results.
  • Christian Croll was welcomed as the new Society of Old Brentwoods President.
  • Out going President - and new Chairman - Chris Cooper nearly caused a stampede as he announced a free bar!
  • Thank you to the amazing Brentwood School catering team, the food was excellent.

Next year we hope to build on the success of this years event with more sport options, alternative activities, and ultimately having more OBs, students, and supporters joining.

Thanks to those who came and made it such an enjoyable day, and do spread the word for 2024 - We would love for OB Day to become a firm fixture in everyone's diary.
